Nina Pearl Pettigrew, 81, of Parrsboro, Cumberland Co. passed away Sunday, July 13, 2008 at East Cumberland Lodge, Pugwash. Born in Parrsboro, she was a daughter of the late Lorenzo and Doris (MacLaughlin) Tibbetts. She is survived by daughters, Carolyn Parsons (Howard Wilcox), Centre Burlington, Hants Co.; Paula Taylor (Michael), Oxford; sons, Gary (Jeannine), Edmonton; Larry (Shirley), Edmonton; a brother, Roy, New Brunswick; nine grandchildren; several great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Lewis; a daughter, Marilyn; a brother, Gerald; four grandchildren in infancy. Funeral 11 a.m. Wednesday at Smith's Funeral Home, Parrsboro, Rev.
