Richard Holt "Dick" Elliott passed away June 22, 2008 in Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Amherst. His wife, Elaine Patterson son, Dale and wife Sandra, and stepdaughter, Carol Corbett, were by his side. Dick was a son of the late Victor and Daisy Elliott. Dick was born in Apple River, Cumberland Co. He grew up at the Apple River lighthouse, where his father was keeper for many years. Besides his parents, Dick was predeceased by sisters, Joan, Juanita and Judy; also brothers, Odin and Victor. Surviving are sisters, Rosemary, Helen and Heather; sons, Dale (Sandra), Mark, and Raymond (Tina); stepdaughter, Carol; three grandsons, two stepgrandsons, one granddaughter, two great grandsons and one great granddaughter. Arrangements for cremation have been entrusted to Donald K. Walker Funeral Home. At Dick's request, no service will be held.
