The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Friday, April 3, 2009, of Joseph A. “Boy” Pineau, of North Rustico, age 66. He was the beloved husband of Rosie (nee Gallant); father of Tony (Barb) and Wade (Jennifer); and grandfather of Blaise, Ava and Ella. He is also survived by his sister, Marie Paulin, (the late Bernard); his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Bernice Gauthier, Shirley (Ed)
Gallant, Ivan (Teresa), Noreen (Donnie) Pineau, Carolyn (Mike) LeClair, Darlene Quan, Inga Gallant, Herbie (Marlene) Gallant, Lanie (Jim) Kish, Brian (Donna) Gallant and Eric (Gwen) Gallant; and mainy nieces and nephews. Joseph was predeceased by his mother, Beatrice. Resting at the McNeill Room of Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church, North Rustico, for visitation on Monday, April 6, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday, April 7, at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Stella Maris Church Cemetery. Due to severe allergies please refrain from wearing scented products. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Joseph’s memory to the ALS Society would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Central Queen’s Funeral Home, New Glasgow.
