WEATHERALL - William (Bill) Robert Eugene, age 65, of Kyle, SK, passed away March 28, 2009, at his home in Kyle. The memorial service was held at 2:00 pm, Friday, April 3, 2009, from the Full Gospel Church, Swift Current, with Brent Marshall officiating. The organist was Lorna Gehl and life tributes were presented by Doug and Scott Duiven. The ushers were Linden Holderbein and John Klassen. Honorary pallbearers were his neighbours and coffee row. Bill is survived by his wife Anne; children, Cindy Scharf, Terry and Niki Weatherall, Rick and Pam Weatherall, Tarnrny Fritz, Rob Weatherall and Amy Schalin; brothers, Arnold and Josephine Weatherall, Roy and Fay Weatherall, and Gordon Weatherall; grandchildren, Kristie Scharf, Brandon Weatherall, Wyatt Weatherall, Chance Fritz, Chelsea Fritz, Justine Fritz, Connor Robertson and Hailey Weatherall; as well numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Stanley in 1972; mother Maude in 1994; nephew Kevin Weatherall in 1967; and brother Carl Weatherall in 1990. Bill was born in Belleville, ON, on December 3, 1943. He attended Belleville Collegiate Institute. Bill went to work at GM on the "Boy's Line," then worked at Whitehorse for a few years then moved to Edmonton and drove bus for the City. He then moved to Calgary and worked for Laidlaw until they went leased operator and then moved to H&R Transport until he was forced to retire, due to his health, in September 2004. Bill enjoyed coffee row in Swift Current and Kyle and also enjoyed gardening, drives, quiet time and spending time at the Kyle Sports Plex watching hockey games. In his memory, memorial donations may be made to the Kyle Community Sports Centre. Bill will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by his family and friends.
