Passed away suddenly at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, St. John’s, NL on April 7, 2009, Rosalind Jean Sheppard (nee Mercer) of Whitbourne. Predeceased by her mother and father Norman & Florence Mercer. Leaving to mourn husband Roy, daughter Janine & son Craig; brothers Junior (Nora), Lloyd (Sandra); sisters Martha (Neil Hillier), Audrey (Lloyd Adams), Norma (Noel Dawe, deceased); mother-in-law Susan Sheppard; brothers-in-law Dan (Effie), Eric (Kathleen) of York Harbour; also a large circle of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, other relatives, friends and customers. Resting at Holloway’s Funeral Home, Whitbourne. Visitation Thursday and Friday April 9 & 10 from 10-12, 2-5, 7-10, Saturday 10-12. Funeral service from St. John the Baptist Anglican Church on Saturday at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at St. Barnabas Anglican Cemetery, Blaketown. No flowers by request.
