Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Monday, April 6, 2009, age 94. Predeceased by her husband Gerald, November 1992 and infant daughter Elizabeth, August 1945. Leaving to mourn her children: Jane Browne (Harry), Jim (Betty), David (Donna), Hubbards, N.S.; Geraldine, Peggy, Jackie (Mark), Ottawa, ON, and Brenda Lazar; brother John Baird (Anne) and brother Francis Baird; grandchildren: Susan Browne (Harold Lownds), Lower Sackville, N.S., Ken Browne (Ruth Steele), Ron Tobin, David Tobin (Nicholle), Jamie Tobin (Jill), Scott Tobin, New Jersey; Christopher Tobin, Jillian, Richie and Kimberley Lazar, New York; great-grandchildren: Mark and Sara Landry, Nicholle, Shane and Ryan Tobin, Matthew and Liam Browne and Brooklyn LeDrew; nieces: Moira Baird (Kevin), Maeve Baird (Randy) and Aileen Baird (Ron), Ottawa, ON; also many other relatives and friends and special neighbours Eileen and Diane Coady and Madonna and Charlie Wheeler. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Wednesday from 2 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Service on Thursday, April 9th at 9:30 a.m. from Caul’s Chapel. Cremation to follow.
