Crowe: Jane Arlene, 52, of Central Onslow, passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 8 2009, in the Colchester Regional Hospital Truro. Born in Truro she was a daughter of Ola (Jeffers) Crowe of Truro and the late Allan Crowe. She was a former employee of Stanfield’s Ltd. Truro for 27 years and part time at the Irving Big Stop and prior to her illness was employed at Crossley Karastan Truro. Jane was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church Truro where she was a Sunday School Teacher for many years. Besides her mother she is survived by her partner, Henry Landry; son, Timothy (Sue) and her son Demitri, Truro; sister, Cathy, Eastern Passage; brothers, Tony (Barbara), Fort McMurray, AB; Jamie (Michelle), Truro; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held 11am today, April 11, Rev. Cory Somers officiating, in the Mattatall ~ Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street Truro, with a reception to follow in the funeral home. Interment to be held at a later date in the Terrace Hill Cemetery Truro. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to the Immanuel Baptist Church Truro.
