Shawn William Jewer, 50, of Ottawa, passed away suddenly on March 31, 2010, at the Ottawa Inner City Health Facility.
Visitation for Shawn will be held Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, 380 Smith St., New Waterford. A funeral mass of celebration for Shawn will take place Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in the Parish Church of St. Leonard, Mount Carmel Ave., with Father Doug MacDonald officiating. Burial will be in Mount Carmel cemetery at a later date. A luncheon will be held at the KOC Hall, New Waterford, immediately following the funeral mass.
