David Lenard Fraser 56, of Toronto, Ont, passed away on Wed., April 8th, 2009 at his home. He was born and raised in New Waterford and was the son of the late John A. and Ursula (Carroll) Fraser. David was a member of St. Agnes Church, New Waterford, and was as a coal hauler for many years before moving to Toronto.
David is survived by daughter Kelly, Toronto; grandsons James and Daniel; sisters Claudia (Wayne), Hemford N.S. and Sheila (Joe) Toronto Ont.; brothers Richard (Marie), Stayner Ont., Michael (Sharon) and Rob (Lee) both of New Waterford; half-sisters, Rita and Ellen. He also leaves to mourn many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, David was predeceased by sisters Diane Kearney and Allana Fraser, and a brother Lenard in infancy. There will be a visitation on Monday, April 13th, 2009 at Lynett Funeral Home on Dundas St. West, Toronto, Ont.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in David’s memory to a charity of one’s choice. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery at a later date.
