Passed peacefully away at Fahey's Personal Care Home, Fermeuse, Joe Rossiter of Cape Broyle on Thursday April 1, 2010 in the presence of his loving family. Age 101 years. Predeceased by his loving wife Maisie (Fowler) in 1993. His parents Patrick & Mary Joe, brothers Matt, Fred, Raymond & Phonse, sisters Annie, Ina, Ellen & Uriel, niece Anna. Left with fond & loving memories devoted daughter Mary Coady & son-in-law John, special granddaughters Paulette & husband Scott Sullivan, Melissa & husband David Walsh. Precious great-grandchildren who were Poppy Joe's treasures, Elle & Eva Sullivan & Cole Walsh. One sister Rita residing at Hoyles-Escasoni Complex, St John's, also a large number of nieces, nephews, also Gerald, Jean & staff & his many friends at Fahey's Personal Care Home, his special visitors, Gabriella, Bernadette & Rita. Resting at Fahey's Funeral Home, Fermeuse. Visitation on Saturday ,April 3 & Sunday, April 4 from 2-9 p.m. Mass of Christian burial on Monday, April 5 at 11 a.m. from Immaculate Conception Church, Cape Broyle. Interment to follow at Our Lady of the Cape Cemetery, Cape Broyle.
