At the Kings County Memorial Hospital in Montague on Friday, April 10, 2009, of William Lewis “Bill’’ Thompson of Valleyfield, age 65 years. Beloved husband of Gwennyth “Gwen’’ (nee Robertson). Loving Father of Jeff (Roxanne Carter), April (Randy Driscoll), Jelena (Scott MacCarville) and Nicholas (Keri Driscoll), and Grandfather of Nathan, Betty Jean, Thomas, Brooke, Brett and Jake William. Dear brother of Derell (Betty), Vivian (Alden) Baker, and Ethel (Donald) Nicholson. Also survived by his mother-in-law, Catherine Robertson. Predeceased by his parents, Clarence and Bertha (nee Moore) Thompson, his brother, David, and by his sister, Betty McCarron. Resting at Ferguson’s Montague Funeral Home from where the service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday at 2 p.m. Interment in the Brudenell Cemetery. Visitation: Sunday, 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
