Helen Frances Campbell of Sydney, passed away Saturday April 11, 2009 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
Born in Sydney, she was the daughter of the late John J. and Lue Theresa (Daley) Campbell.
Helen attended Holy Angels high school and was employed at Eastern Bakery for many years. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church and a regular supporter of Children in the Third World. She sent letters and cards to the sick and terminally ill, especially remembering the veterans in rehab.
Helen is survived by her sisters Geraldine, and Kathleen (Sylvester) MacDonald both of Sydney; nephews Campbell MacDonald, Sydney, Ivan Boudreau, Sackville, NB, and Jack Boudreau, London, Ont.; grand-nieces Brittani and Casandra.
Helen was predeceased by a sister Delores Boudreau, and a brother-in-law Med Boudreau.
Funeral mass will take place Wednesday 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church with Rev. Anthony O’Connor. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Sacred Heart Church Building Fund or Charity of Choice.
