Passed away following a lengthy illness, at the Palliative Care Unit, St. John’s, on April 12, 2009, Edmund Williams of Gaskiers, S.M.B., aged 58 years. Predeceased by parents Ernest and Isabelle Williams. Leaving to mourn brothers: Lloyd (Noreen), John (Linda), Brendan (Mercedes), sister Betty (Bob), special niece Bernice, uncle Ben (Theresa), aunt Mona and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Resting at Gibbons’ Funeral Home, St. Mary’s, on Monday, April 13, 2009, from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, April 14, 2009, 2 to 4 p.m.; 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian burial to take place on Wednesday, April 15, 2009, at 10 a.m., at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, St. Mary’s.
