MULLETT, Evelyn (Barbour) (1918 - 2009)–Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre in the presence of her family on Wednesday, April 8, 2009, Evelyn Mullett, age 90 years. Evelyn is now reunited with her husband Edgar Mullett who passed away in 2007. She is also predeceased by her sister Vivian Dunham and brother Clayton Barbour. Leaving behind with loving memories three daughters: Peggy Sawyer (Richard) in Florida, Patsy Francis (Herb), JoAnne Gray (Larry); three sons: Bill (Pat), Jim (Carleen) in Calgary and Ted (Maarit) in Quebec; grandchildren: Chris Sawyer; Herb Jr. and Stephanie Francis; Sarah Lynn and Larry Gray; Greg Mullett (Linda), Grant Mullett (Donna), Lacey and Jessie Mullett, Ryley and Teija Mullett; sisters: Lurley Browne and Jean Morris; brothers: Sam Barbour and Joseph Barbour; great-grandchildren; other family and friends. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the staff of 5 North A, Health Sciences Centre, for their kind care during her short stay in hospital; to Dr. Andrew Goff for his compassion and dedication; to niece Bernadette Power and nephew Jerry Browne for their love, help and support; to Maureen Hilts, Danny Neville, Joan Gibbons and Elizabeth Howlett for their help in providing special homecare. At Evelyn’s request, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, on Friday, April 10, 2009 from 1 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Barrett’s Chapel, Saturday, April 11, 2009 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
