(August 03, 1934 Ð April 11, 2009). Passed peacefully away at the Leonard A. Miller Centre at the age of 74 years. Predeceased by sons Gerald Jr. (Bud) and Robert (Bobby), parents Ann and Joseph; brothers Lawrence and Cecil; brother-in-law Gordon and sister-in-law Phyllis. Left with fond and loving memories his wife of 55 years Charlotte (Groves), sons; Gary (Donna), Harold (Carol), Larry, Perry (Georgina), Gordie, Paul (Nancy), Tony (Karen), and special grandson Jody, daughters; Joanne (Warren) and Annette (Leo), daughters-in-law Rhonda and Hilda; 24 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Also leaving to mourn brothers Harold, Wayne and George; sister Jeanie, brother-in-law Robert Groves, sisters-in-law Loretta Brennan (Gerald), Patsy Coombs (Don) and Olga Parker (John). Also numerous nieces and nephews. Special nephews Rick and Dave; special nieces Linda, Debbie, Dianne and Cathy and special friend Bob Noseworthy. Resting at Caul\'s Funeral Home, Torbay. Visitation Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral service will take place from Caul\'s Funeral Home, Torbay on Tuesday, April 14th, 2009 at 2 p.m. Cremation to follow. Internment to follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made in his memory to the Daffodil Place.
