Passed peacefully away at Agnes Pratt Home on Sunday, April 12, 2009 at the age of 85. Predeceased by loving husband, Robert 1970, two sisters and two brothers. Leaving to mourn with loving memories four daughters; Hazel Jones (Norm), Maggie Guilfoyle (Pat), Letsie Fudge (Eric), Kay Winsor (Kevin), two sons Beaton and Kevin and special daughter-in-law Winnie; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren whom she adored. As well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and life-long friends. Many thanks to the wonderful staff of Stella Burry Place for their patience and loving care. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave. on Tuesday, April 14 from 2 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, April 15, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral service on Thursday, April 16 at 2 p.m. from the Salvation Army West Corps, Mundy Pond Road. Interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery Blackmarsh Road. No flowers by request. In lieu, donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
