James Young, April 11, 2009, age 92. Once fondly referred to as “The Newfoundland Fisherman,” from Twillingate. More recently known as “the P.E.I. Reporter,” for his column in the Country Line Courier. Jim was living and enjoying life at Perrin’s Clinton View Lodge, where he was actively involved with the senior’s community and participated in writing their household newsletter. Jim is survived by his three children Linda, Larry (Bev), Dorothy (Monty) and four beloved grandchildren. He was predeceased by two wives, Helen and Gladys. A service will be held at Perrin’s Clinton View Lodge on Friday, April 17, at 2 p.m. He has put his pen down for the last time.
