1927-2008. It was with great sadness that the family of the late Barbara F. Peckford (Bob) announce her passing at the home of her daughter in Badger on September 9, 2008 at the age of 80. Predeceased by parents John B. & Marguerite MacNeill, sisters Joan Brett, Eleanor Peckford and son-in-law Jerry Squires. Left with fond and loving memories are husband Roy; children: Sharon & Bill Mayne of Badger, Bernard & Elaine of Marathon, Ontario, Sheila & Cyril Terry of Edmonton, Alberta, David of Edmonton, Alberta and Patricia Squires of Edmonton, Alberta. Also leaving to mourn sister Sheila (Ralph) Gosse; grandchildren: Brian (Susan), Jill (Dennis), Deidre (Karl), Paul (Brittany) Mayne, Kimberley (Colin) Peckford, Bernard, Colleen (John) & Jeffrey Terry, Lynn & Laura Squires; great-granddaughter Sarah, many loved nieces and nephews as well as a large circle of family and friends. Father Eugene Morris and father Edward Brophy conducted the funeral service at St. Theresa's Church on September 12th, 2008. Interment was at the Buchans Community Cemetery, Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Michael Goodyear of Central Funeral Homes.
