Ralph Richards late of Prince Albert passed away Monday, April 13, 2009 at the age of 83 years. He was born June 24, 1935 in the Sturgeon Valley District. Ralph was raised on the family farm in the Deer Ridge District. On September 10, 1953 he married Dorothy Clarke in Prince Albert and resided here until his passing. Ralph retired after 20 years of service at Molson Breweries where he worked as a steam engineer. Ralph was an avid curler and golfer and enjoyed traveling the USA and traveled in Canada from coast to coast. Ralph is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years Dorothy (nee Clarke); his son James (Lori) of Sherwood Park, AB; his grandchildren Michael and Victoria; his brother Frank (Kathy) of Kamloops, BC; his sister Doreen (Glenn) Mainland of Calgary, AB; his sister-in-law Alda of Ashcroft, BC as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Thomas and Jeannette (nee Johnstone); his brothers Bert (Ann), Milo and Earl. At Ralph’s request a memorial reception for family and friends will be held at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 15 in the Arbor Lounge of River Park Memorial Chapel – 301 River Street West.
