Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family and friends at the Palliative Care Unit of the L.A. Miller Centre on April 14th, 2009, Gerald Philip Roche, age 48 of Middle Cove. Reunited on his birthday with his parents Ralph (1992) and Nellie (2006) and his brother Gary (2001). Leaving to mourn with treasured memories his five sisters: Anne Power (Pat), Sharon Roche, Diane Roche, Mary Kelly (Tony) and Irene Barnable (Terry). Also leaving to mourn 10 nephews, three nieces, three great-nieces, four great-nephews, special cousin Linda Tilley, and caregiver Steven Curran and Gloria Cole. Jerry has touched the lives of many aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family and friends. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home in Torbay, Wednesday from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Thursday from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral mass to be held on Friday, April 17th at 10 a.m. from St. Francis of Assisi Church in Outer Cove.
