ELLIOTT, ETHEL E. – 88, of Advocate Harbour, Cumberland County passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at South Cumberland Community Care Center, Parrsboro. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Earle and Reta (Allen) DeWitt. She is survived by daughters, Shirley Benjamin (Aubrey), Halifax; Roseann Lamb, Terrace, BC; a son, Gordon (Sandra), Advocate Harbour; a sister, Dora Fuller, Parrsboro; brothers, Eldon, Parrsboro; George (Marilyn), Lower Sackville; William (Viny), Moncton; 7 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Bernard; a sister, Henrietta; brothers, Oriel and Robert. A graveside service will be held at a later date.
