The death occurred at Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Thursday, April 16, 2009, of Richard Ballem of Charlottetown, age 62 years. Loving father of Sherry Gallant (Donald) and Eric Campbell. Richard will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Kayla and Nathan Ballem. He was predeceased by his mother, Orla Ballem. Resting at the Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford, for visitation on Friday, April 17, 2009, 6-9 p.m. only. Funeral service will be held at Stratford Chapel, Hillsboro Funeral Home on Saturday, April 18, at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at a later date at Pownal Cemetery.
