PELLERIN - Eliane Marie passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at the age of 86. She is survived by her children Norman (Leona) Pellerin, Jeannette (Dennis) Chenier and Brenda (Elvin) Smith; her grandchildren Darcy Pellerin, Dana Pellerin, Erin (Andy) Paulus, Amber Chenier, Jennifer Smith, Chad (Melissa) Smith; her great granddaughters Alma Paulus and Auden Smith; two sisters Bernice Pellerin and Gertrude (Eddy) Berger; one brother Lucien (Mary) Gagnon and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Arthur; her grandson Jeremy Chenier; her parents Adjutor and Marie Gagnon; her brothers Arsene and Ovide and sisters Emelie, Marie-Anna, Simone and Lucille. Eliane was born June 19, 1922 in Duck Lake, SK. She married Arthur Pellerin October 22, 1946 and they farmed in Albertville until 1968 when they moved to Prince Albert. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, playing cards, bowling and watching sports on TV, especially the Blue Jays. Together Art and Eliane enjoyed many hours entertaining family and friends at their cabin at Whalen Bay. Prayer Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, April 17, 2009 at Gray’s Funeral Chapel, 575 – 28th Street West with Mrs. Margaret Ferchuk officiating. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 18, 2009 at the Sacred Heart Cathedral, 1401 – 4th Avenue West, Prince Albert, SK with celebrant Reverend Father Maurice Fiolleau. Interment will be held at Albertville Cemetery. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to the Saskatchewan Alzheimer’s Society or Charity of Donor’s Choice.
