Edward “Eddy†Jesse McKay, age 61, of Saskatoon, formerly of Candle Lake and Prince Albert, beloved father and grandfather of Sheryl (Dan) [Ashley, Trenton], Wendy (Derek) [Julie-ann, Dylan) and Carl (Janean) [Samantha, Melissa], beloved companion of Linda; passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2009. He is also survived by his sisters Gladys Johnstone and Margaret Goods; his brothers Leonard (Jo-Ann) and William (Nelle); numerous nieces and nephews and a special niece Mikayla Barrie. He was predeceased by his parents François and Rosalie (nee Dalle) McKay; his brothers Alvin and Peter and a brother-in-law Austin Goods. Ed was born on October 29, 1947 in Inglis, MB. He was a member of the IBEW. He will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his family and friends. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 21 from River Park Memorial Chapel. Father Clifford Tremblay will officiate. Interment of cremated remains will take place in the Russell Cemetery at a later date. It is the family’s request that those wishing to place memorials may do so to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
