Ana Roberts passed away peacefully at Cypress Lodge, Maple Creek, Sask. on April 12, 2009. She will be lovingly remembered by her family – Terry (Colleen) Roberts, sons Mark and Jason; Teena (Roy) Spanko, son Kelly (Pat) Spanko, daughter Shannon (Ron) Molina; Tim (Cindy) Roberts, sons Brandon and Trevor; Tanya (Ray) Yamniuk, daughter Kim (Dustin) Born, son Troy Yamniuk (Jena). Ann is also blessed with two great grandchildren Luke Spanko and Mateya Molina. Ann was born and raised in the Moose Jaw area and moved to Maple Creek in 1976. Ann was actively involved in the United Church most of her adult life. Funeral service was held at the Maple Creek United Church in Maple Creek, Sask. on Thurs., Apr. 16, 2009 at 2 p.m. with Reverend Eva Stanley officiating. Interment took place at the Maple Creek Cemetery. Pallbearers were Dustin Born, Mark Roberts, Kelly Spanko, Trevor Roberts, Troy Yamniuk, Jason Roberts, Ronald Molina, Brandon Roberts. Honorary pallbearers were all those that shared in Annie’s life. Those who wish to may remember Annie with gifts to the Cypress Lodge for resident activities or to the new Southwest Healthcare Centre for the equipment fund.
