Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on Monday, April 20, 2009, Mary Heffern of Salvage, Bonavista Bay, formerly of Norman’s Cove, in her eighty-ninth year. Predeceased by her first husband William Dena Smith, son Hubert Attwood, parents Ambrose and Emily Warren, parents-in-law William and Julia Smith, sister Elizabeth Gosse, brother-in-law Ronald Gosse, brothers Archibald Warren and George Warren, brother Malcolm Warren, sister-in-law Suzanna Warren, mother-in-law Mary Jane Heffern, brother-in-law Eloil Heffern, sister-in-law Barbara Heffern, brother-in-law Thomas Hunter, brothers-in-law Cecil, Carl and Jacob Smith. Leaving to mourn her dear husband Fred Heffern of Salvage, sister-in-law Evelyn Heffern, sister-in-law Lily May Hunter, sisters-in-law: Janet and Doreen Smith, brother-in-law Reg Smith and sister-in-law Mary Smith, daughters: Maude (Phil), Violet (Gerry Galloway), Ida (Clayton), Laura (Glenn), Florence (Joe), Norma, sons: Ronald (Lottie), Hayward (Sylvia), Arch (Marie), Ed (Doug); twenty-four grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
