Passed peacefully away after a short illness on Tuesday, April 21st, 2009, Samuel Flanigan, aged 70 years (Reigning Master of Lodge Tasker 454 Grand Lodge of Scotland). Predeceased by parents William and Margaret, brother William and granddaughter Samantha Flanigan. Leaving to mourn with fond memories are loving and devoted wife of 49 years, Sarah (Sadie) (nee McCormick); sons: Samuel (Elaine), Scott, Sinclair (Margie); daughter Stacey Bailey (Keith); grandchildren: Stephanie, Drue, Sherri-Ann, Brandon, Simon and Isaac; brother: John (Margaret) of Scotland, as well as many other relatives, friends and fraternal brethren at the Masonic Lodge. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Thursday, April 23rd and Friday, April 24th from 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral service will be held from Wesley United Church on Saturday, April 25th, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
