On Wednesday, April 22, 2009 we lost a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, Mary Dorothy Morrissey, age 79 years. Predeceased by her husband William (1985), infant daughter Maryanne, son Brian (1975), and daughter Maryrose (1983). Survived by daughters: Sandra LaPaix (Guy) St. Pierre, Dorothy Baker (Vince) Marystown; sons: William (Linda) and Gerard (Maria); grandchildren: Darrell, Heidi, Dana, Brian, Mandy, Alison, Matthew, Andrew, Patrick, Sara and Jennifer; five great-grandchildren: Nadia, Mataeu, Alex, Josh and Olivia; sister Evelyn Crane (John) and lifelong friend Madeline Ryan, also a large circle of relatives and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Thursday from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, April 25th, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. from the Basilica of St. John the Baptist. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
