Peacefully at University Hospital on April 21st, 2009, Mr. Donald J. MacNeill of London in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Mary Ethel MacNeill. Loving father of Neil (Gillian), Margaret (Royce Hoggard), and Heather. Cherished “Bompa” of Andrew (Mandy), Emily, Sarah, Kevin, Ryan, and Rachel and two great grandchildren. Don served five years with the Royal Canadian Navy during World War II, served as a relief agent with the CPR, and was an accomplished accountant. He gave willingly of his time to teach English to new immigrants and was a long time HAM radio enthusiast. Visitation in the Lloyd R. Needham Funeral Chapel (520 Dundas St, London) on Friday 7-9pm. A Masonic service under the auspices of Ionic Lodge #716 will be held on Friday
at 6:30pm. A memorial service to celebrate Don’s life will be held on Saturday, April 25th, 2009, at 11:00am at The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints (615 Baseline Road) In memory of Don, contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
