Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at the Health Sciences Centre on Wednesday, April 22nd, 2009, Mary Assumpta Burke (Mame) in her 58th year of North Arm, Holyrood now residing in Marysvale. Predeceased by her parents, Phillip & Ann Penney, her brothers: Phillip (Mary) and Michael, her daughter Alicia & her brother-in-law Michael Murray. Left with fond and loving memories are her son James (Jackie), her daughters; Patricia (Terry) Bartlett, Tina Burke Shea & Tammy (Norman) Hatcher; her sisters: Bride (Art) Fewer & Cecilia Murray; her brothers: Johnny (Mary), Tom (Doreen); her grandchildren: Megan, Jessica, Matthew, Joshua, Tiffany, Michael, Terrance, Jennie, Mark and James; her special companion Jimmy Simms; also a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Dunphy’s Funeral Home, Holyrood. Visitation on Thursday and Friday from 12 noon - 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 25th, 2009 from Holy Cross Church, Holyrood.
