Passed peacefully away at Callingwood Downs, Clarke’s Beach on Tuesday, April 21, 2009, Mrs. Lily May Hunt, aged 94 years of Clarke’s Beach. Predeceased by parents: Abram and Stella Warford (nee Ralph); brother Frank; sisters: Dorothy (Harold) Mercer, Marion (Willis) Bird; step-sister Florence (John) Cousins; son-in-law Murdock Slade. Leaving with a lifetime of cherished memories are her loving husband of 69 years, Richard, who recently marked his 100th birthday. Sons: Freeman (Marion), Frank (Sue), Abram (Alberta), David (Georgina), Victor (Brenda); daughters: Olive (Roy) Ralph, Bernice Slade; brother Ralph (Evelyn) Warford; 15 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; special niece Myra (George - deceased) King, and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at the Pentecostal Tabernacle, Clarke’s Beach. Visitation Thursday 2-5 p.m., 7-9 p.m., Friday 2-5 p.m., 7-9 p.m., Saturday 10-12 noon. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, April 25, 2009 at 2 p.m. from Pentecostal Tabernacle, Clarke’s Beach. Interment in the Pentecostal Cemetery, Clarke’s Beach.
