(nee Cook) Passed peacefully away after a short battle with cancer at the Health Sciences Centre on Monday, September 15, 2008, June Nora Garland, age 69 years. Predeceased by her parents Arthur & Mary Jane Cook, sister Jean Cook, brother Arthur Cook, father and mother-in-law Bill and Minnie Garland. Leaving to celebrate her life with precious memories are husband Don, son Keith (Susan); daughter Lisa (Chris Lafosse); grandchildren Sarah, Jacob and Peter; brothers Edward, Ron (Ruth), Ray (Shirley), Roy (Hope), sisters Joan Dillon, Joyce (Bill Squires); sisters-in-law Elsie (Bruce Bauld), Ruth (Jack Cook); Violet McConnell; Hazel (Fred Rickert); Norma Garland, Marie Cook; special friends Betty and Ray Tucker, Alex and Doreen Leaman. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, 84 LeMarchant Road, St. John's. Following cremation, visitation on Thursday, September 18, 2008 from 10 a.m. - 12 noon, 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral service on Friday, September 19, 2008 at 9:30 a.m. from Caul's Chapel.
