FITZGERALD, Edward (Ned) Joseph– Passed away April 14, 2009 at Brampton Civic Hospital, Brampton, Ont. Edward (Ned) Joseph Fitzgerald. Born in Mt. Carmel NL. December 7, 1943, he moved to Ontario as a young man. Predeceased by parents Allan and Dinah Fitzgerald, brothers Carl and David, sister Dominica, brother-in-law Leo Spurvey, nephews Leo Spurvey Jr. and Kirk Fitzgerald and his childrens' mother Carrie (nee Warren). Left with fond and loving memories are his wife Greta and her family, Malton, Ont.; his sons Edward Jr. (Rita), St. John’s; Reginald (Rosanne), Brampton, Ont.; and daughter Darlene (Scott) Georgetown, Ont.; granddaughter Emma Fitzgerald; brothers Ambrose (Gladys) Bryants Cove; Frank (Betty) and Reg (Mildred), Mt. Carmel; Al (Nadine) Nova Scotia; sisters Nellie, St. John’s; Marg and Bish, Mt. Carmel and Kay (Fran), Massachusetts; his uncle Peter, Paradise NL., many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a large circle of friends.
