It is with great sadness that we the family announce the passing of Frank Falt, on Sunday, April, 26, 2009, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
Born in Petite Rivier, Lunenburg, he was the son of the late Maurice and Eva (Bell) Falt.
Frank enjoyed life, camping, playing cards and spending time with his family. At one time he was employed at Modern City Dairy and retired from Kenmount Ford as a mechanic.
Frank is survived by his loving wife, Ella (Morley) Kennedy Falt; son, Lemuel; stepsons, Steven (Bev) Kennedy, Robert V. Kennedy, Edward Mrazek, all of Sydney, Ernest ‘Gushie’ (Eleanor) Mrazek, New Brunswick; stepdaughter, Dorothy Bray, P.E.I. He is also survived by his six step-grandchildren, Kimberly, Darren, Robert C., LauraLee, Christeen, Robert; 12 Mrazek stepchildren; five Kennedy great-grandchildren, as well as three nephews, Michael, Nicholas, Matthew Falt; one niece, Lynn Robart.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife, Nellie Mrazek Falt, brother, Maurice.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 28 from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday April 29 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the S.W. Chant & Son Funeral Home, 564 Alexandra St., Sydney.
Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, April 30 at the S.W. Chant & Son Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow in Forest Haven Memorial Gardens.
