Passed peacefully away on Saturday, April 25, 2009 at North Pond Personal Care Home, Torbay in her 98th year. Predeceased by her father and mother John and Annie (Malone) Clooney; her sister Margaret and brother Stan. She is mourned by her extended family and by the staff and her friends at North Pond where she resided for the past 16 years. Also leaving to mourn her cousins: Rose Megann (Harry) and Kay Wadden (Pat) and by her special cousin Martin Clooney, his wife Maureen and their family Judi, Bill and Gregory (Patricia), as well as other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul¹s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation will take place on Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will take place on Tuesday, April 28th, 2009 from The Basilica of St. John the Baptist at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to the Gathering Place.
