(nee Pomeroy) Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital on Wednesday, September 17, 2008, at a great age of 93. Predeceased by her first husband Tom McDonald (1964), her second husband Jack Vallis (2003) and her daughter Beth Cummings, USA (2003). Left with loving memories, daughters: Bernadette Walsh (Mike), CBS; Vivian Kilmer (Leonard), Ontario; sons Gervase McDonald, Northern Arm; Ed McDonald (Joanne), Ontario; Gord McDonald (Carol), Ontario; and a large number of nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two very dear sisters Kay Moores and Loretta Pomeroy; close sisters-in-law Sheila McDonald (Casey), Mary Porter (Gene) and Leah McDonald; step-son David Vallis (Patsy) and sadly missed by a large circle of close friends including those at Meadow Creek Retirement Centre. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Saturday, September 20 at 11 a.m. from St. Teresa's Church. Interment to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
