Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, April 28th, 2009. Randolph Joseph Manning of Torbay, age 82. Left with fond and loving memories is his wife of 58 years, Loretta (nee Holden); children: Myra (Harold), Gary (Marian), Chris (Daphne), Randy (Imelda), Agnes (Damian), Sheila (Michael), Bobby (Deanna), Joan (Ed) and Anne; grandchildren; Jeremy, Krista, Nicole, Scott, Kathy, Kelly, Ryan, Kim, Stephanie, Lesleyann, Christopher, Ashley, Shane, Mickey, Toni, Jessica, Brandon, Marissa, Sarah and Norah and 17 great-grandchildren; brothers: Leo and Gerald (Betty); sister Hannah; brother-in-law Edward Holden; sister-in-law Marg Manning; cousins Mary Nolan and Joe Manning and their families; special neighbours Mary and Ed King and special niece Carol Manning and their families; special hunting buddies Brian and Paul Manning and Jim Bolger, as well as a large circle of relatives and friends too numerous to mention. Special thanks to Dr. Azher, Dr. Gina Higgins, Dr. Neil Manning, and the nurses and staff of Four West especially Yolanda, Michelle, Jill, Julie, Nichole and Sandra. Your thoughtfulness and compassion will never be forgotten. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, TORBAY. Visitation Wednesday 12 noon - 9 p.m. and Thursday 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass May 1st, Friday at 10 a.m. from Holy Trinity Church. Interment to follow Holy Trinity Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Ron’s memory may be made to Torbay Volunteer Fire Department, Holy Trinity Church or a charity of one’s choice.
