Passed away peacefully at his home in Kilbride on April 25, 2009. Dan was predeceased by his father Edward and his mother Mavis, and by two brothers Leslie and Jimmy, and in-laws Ruby, Glen, Pat and William. Leaving behind with loving memories wife Yvonne French; children Wendy (Rob King), Daniel and Tamara (Peter King) and their mother Stella Power; step-children Laurie (Jay Candy) and Kelly (Darrin Lundrigan); grandchildren Victoria, Brendan, Nathan, Griffin and Taylynn; siblings Sid, Stan (Annette), Wilfred (Marj), Teddy (Gayle), Edna, Ethel, Phyllis (Army), Millie (Ralph) and Gladys (Lionel); godparents Gerry and Pat Brown; in-laws Louise, Charm, Mary (Bill O’Neill) and Catherine (Ren Ledwell); nieces and nephews Calvin (Donna), Jocelyn (Randy), Randy (Cathy), Cynthia, Des, Bev (Gary), Gloria, Todd (Kayla), Chris (Scott), Blanche (Paul), Frank, Paula (John), Lisa, Marissa, Mark (Ginette), Holly (Len), Les, Rusty, Donna, Eddie, Kathleen, Jackie, Leona and many other family members; co-workers at Safety Services, Skipper and many friends. Cremation has taken place. Visitation to be held at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave., on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to be held at Barrett’s Chapel 10 a.m. on Friday, May 1, 2009.
