1914 - 2009. Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Wednesday, April 29th, Mary Fitzgerald, widow of the late Patrick (1992). Leaving to mourn her devoted daughters: Kathleen Browne (Patrick), Mary Veitch (Noel); loving grandchildren: Stephen Browne (Karen), Sheila Hemsley (Gordon, deceased 2001), Barbara Dawson (Christopher), Brian Veitch (Kara) and John Veitch (Colleen); beloved great-grandchildren: Gregory (Melissa), Jessica, Erik, Anna, Jeffrey, Michael, Laura Jane, Andrew, Thomas, Claire and Alexander. Also mourned by brother Patrick Squires, special niece May Grace, devoted friend Margaret Gosling and a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, May 2nd, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. from Corpus Christi Church, Waterford Bridge Road. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
