(June 4, 1933 - September 19, 2008). Our hearts are filled with great sadness as the family announces the passing of a wonderful and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle, at the Health Sciences Complex on the 19th of September, 2008, age 75 years. Predeceased by parents Ida and Walter Stevens, sister Mary of North River, Conception Bay. Leaving to mourn with precious memories wife Maud; treasured daughter Lisa Dawn; son-in-law Patrick Myles; two special granddaughters: Erica and Serena whom he adored. Also leaving with loving memories brother Charles (Florie), North River; sister Joyce (Raymond Andrews), St. John's, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Saturday, September 20, 2008 and Sunday, September 21, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., and on Monday, September 22, 2008 from 10 a.m. - 12 Noon. Funeral service to take place from The Church of St. Mary the Virgin, Craigmillar Avenue on Monday, September 22, 2008 at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
