It is with great sadness that the family of the late Annie Marjorie Payne (nee Roberts), announce her sudden passing at her family residence at Rocky Harbour, on Thursday April 30th 2009, in her 85th year, leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her 8 sons; Russo (Marie) & Eli both of Rocky Harbour, Mike(Brenda), Joe (Marion), Walter (Joanne), Elwood (Pam), Dwight (Jean), & Howard (Karleene) all of Ontario, her 17 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, her 3 brothers; George (Jenny) Robert of Ontario, Dawson (Edith) Roberts of Sally's Cove, & Robert (Muriel) Roberts of Rocky Harbour, her sister; Innis (Bob) Brown of Cow Head, her daughter in law; Genita Payne of Ontario. Also leaves to mourn a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, family & friends. Mother was predeceased by her husband; Joseph Payne, her son; Gary Payne, sister; Letitia White, and her brother; Chris Roberts. The family will be receiving family and friends from the Pentecostal Church in Rocky Harbour, today Saturday May 2nd, 2009 from the hours of 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm , & continuing on Sunday May 3rd, 2009, from the hours of 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm. The funeral service will take place on Monday May 4th, 2009 from the St. Mathews, Anglican Church in Rocky Harbour, at 2:00 pm, with Pastors: Howard & Arlene Feltham & Rev: John Olsson officiating with the burial to follow at the Anglican Church Cemetery in Rocky Harbour. The funeral arrangements are under the direction of Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, N.L.
