Peacefully on April 29, 2009, in his 74th year. Beloved husband of Zeinab (Zina) and loving father of Osama (Sam), Hamdi (Andy), and Ahmed. Most cherished Grandpa of Myriam and Aisha. A gifted engineer and educator by way of Alexandria (Egypt), Fathi arrived in Charlottetown in 1969 and will be remembered for his warm heart and gracious kindness. As an instructor at Holland College, he helped introduce the metric system in Canada and learned that fishing for perch was much nicer than dealing with the local Island politics. God willing, he is now watching his favorite hockey game in North Rustico where the score is tied at tree-tree in da therd period. God bless his soul.
