It is with great sadness that the family of the late Alfred Joseph Pilcz announce his passing on Sunday, September 21st, 2008 at the Palliative Care Unit at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook. He will be sadly missed by his loving family Judy Mugford, children: Ken Pilcz (Teresa), Dan Pilcz (Vickie), John Pilcz (Dana), Susan Morgan (Barry), Sharon Walker (Curt) and Stephen Mugford (Andrea), brother Deiter, grandchildren: Joshua, Jason and Jessie Pilcz, Shanna and Emma Mugford, Julie, Bria and Sarah Morgan, Mackenna and Seth Walker and a large circle of family and friends. He was predeceased by parents Joseph and Marie (Mitzi) and brother Eric. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Wednesday from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 25th at 2:00 pm from Humber United Church with Rev. Kathy Brett officiating. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Palliative Care Unit at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, the Humber United Church Memorial Fund or a Charity of one’s choice.
