Alma Blanche - 68, Dartmouth, formerly of Corner Brook, N.L., passed away July 19, 2008, in Northwood Manor. Born in Lark Harbour, N.L., she was a daughter of Clayton and Bessie Diamond. Alma lived at Small Options Home in Dartmouth for many years. She enjoyed going to Community Centre and also DASC for different activities. Alma also enjoyed spending time with her family and her wonderful caregivers. She loved knitting, shopping, coffee outings, dances and walks. She is survived by sisters, Wavey (Tim) Crandall, Donna McCullough, Wanda (Bud) Sullivan; many nieces and nephews, and numerous cousins and several aunts and uncles. She was predeceased by her parents, Clayton and Bessie Diamond; brother, John; brother-in-law, John, and nephew, Bryan. Visitation will be held today from 7-9 p.m. in Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main St., Dartmouth. A funeral service will be held Monday, July 21, at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel, Pastor Frank Willoughby officiating. Burial in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens. Reception to follow.
