It is with great sadness that the family of the late Bertina McIsaac announce her passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville on Sunday, January 27, 2008 at the age of 96 years. She will be sadly missed by thirteen children: Iggy (Claire), Camilla (Richard), Marion (Bill), Jim (Rita), Joan (Stan), Wade (Amy), Marie (David), Brendan, Joe, Melvin, Ivan, Marilyn, Eldred (Hynes) and a large circle of grandchildren, great grandchildren, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Andrew, two daughters: Meriva and Bernice, three brothers: Bryce, Hughie, Angus and four sisters, Annie, Rita, Gertrude and Eunice. Friends may call at the Maria Regina Parish, Port au Port East on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Friday, February 1st. at 10:00 a.m. at the Maria Regina Parish, Port au Port East with interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Port au Port East. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted. Funeral arrangements are under the supervision of Russell’s Funeral Home, Stephenville.
