It is with great sadness that the family of the late Bonnie Blanchard announce her passing on Tuesday, July 8th, 2008 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook at the age of 71 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Claude, 2 daughters: Marion (Eldon) and Gloria (Barry) both of Ontario; 2 grandchildren: Marty and Brittany both of Ontario; 2 brothers: Freddrick Lovell, Corner Brook and Eugene Lovell, McIver’s, 2 sisters: Angela (Albert) Lovell, McIver’s and Lola (Lloyd) Gillingham, Cormack, sister-in-law Lily Wells, Cox’s Cove, brother-in-law Gerald (Beatrice) Blanchard, Gillams. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Thomas and Lucy Lovell, son Leo Blanchard and sister Myrtle Park. Friends may visit St. James’ Anglican Church on Thursday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 PM from where the funeral service will be held on Friday, July 11th at 2:00 PM with Rev. Malcolm Palmer officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the Western Regional Hospital Foundation. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue, Corner Brook.
