It is with great sadness that the family of the late Cecilia Lainey announce her passing at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre, Stephenville Crossing on Monday, February 23, 2009 at the age of 92 years. She was predeceased by her husband, Stephen Lainey on September 28, 1993. She leaves to mourn three sons: Dan (Mary) of Stephenville, Stephen (Ileene) of British Columbia and Lawrence (Betty) of Fox Island River; four daughters: Bonnie Lainey of Goose Bay, Esther Smith of Stephenville, Loretta (Ed) Kavanagh of Fox Island River and Cecilia Lainey of British Columbia; 22 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place at Russell’s Crematorium, Stephenville.
