Humber Clifford, 78, Lower Sackville, passed away January 27th at the QE II HSC, VG Site. Born in Norris Point, Bonne Bay, NFLD, he was the son of the late William and Katherine (Nichole) Humber. Clifford has been a resident of Sackville for 17 years, moving from Newfoundland after retiring from his business as a lounge and barbershop owner. He enjoyed gardening in his spare time. He was a member of Canaan Lodge # 19, Stephenville, NFLD. He is survived by his wife of 48 years Margaret (Retiffe); sons Bradford Humber, Sackville, Keith (Nathlie) Humber, Ottawa; brothers Alva (Shirley) Humber, Warren (Anne) Humber, all of Toronto; grandchildren Amanda, Evan, James, Laura, cousins Jean Ellsworth and Mona Sparkes, many nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by son Glenn, brothers William and Phillip. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 28th from 7-9, and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday at 2 pm, all in Atlantic Funeral Home, 125 Sackville Drive. Rev. Ron Cutler officiating.
