It is with great sadness that the family of the late Derek Dennis announce his passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville on Friday, May 16, 2008 at the age of 60 years. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Veronica and son, Cory of Medicine Hat, Alberta, daughter, Lisa of Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, three brothers: George and Bernard (Vera), all of John’s Beach, Frank (Annie) of Corner Brook, three sisters: Maisie Tarbett of Corner Brook, Geraldine Brake of Mount Pearl, Betty (Whitfield) Green of Ajax, Ontario and a large circle of relatives and friends. Friends may call at Russell’s Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive, Stephenville on Saturday from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Monday, May 19th at 2:00 p.m. at St. Angustine’s Anglican Church, Hillview Avenue, Stephenville with interment in the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery, Hansen Highway, Stephenville. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations to the St. Augustine’s Anglican Church Memorial Fund would be greatly appreciated.
