It is with precious memories and deep appreciation of his life, the family of Douglas Samuel Reccord announces his death at Hollett’s Retirement Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor on April 6, 2008 in his 93rd year. Predeceased by first wife Verlie, son Ross and second wife Lena, brother Mark and sisters Matilda, Jessie, Gertie and Julia. Leaving to mourn daughters: Judy Miller (Ken), Eileen Simms (Fred), Joan Gosine (Tom), daughter-in-law Maxine Reccord. Eight grandchildren: Jacquie Penney, Stephen Simms, Allan & Allison Miller, Mark & Christa Reccord, David & Laura Gosine, 3 great grandchildren: Jason Penney, Colin & Leslie Miller. As well as a large circle of family and friends. Following cremation, funeral service will take place on Wednesday April 8, 2008 at 2pm at Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Wing’s Point, Gander Bay.
